Supernova Frames

These are vector illustrations that I used as frames for a motion graphics project that was displayed at the Supernova Digital Animation Fest in Denver. Each environment is a rough depiction of a place I’ve been in my life. I wanted to explore how we keep these profound and sentimental memories close to us and how we reconstruct the way we remember spaces every time we access that memory. The environments are supposed to be highly stylized and slightly abstract yet maintain the idyllic feeling I remember from being there physically, to show that while the details of our memories may shift, their emotional impact remains.
